About Me
My name is Maria Emilia Calderone. I started this page to share my creativity, my personal experiences and thoughts. I have another blog (MLCD) that I started in early 2020, it's about my journey...my return to God and my preaching, using tons of scripture to support what I preach. These posts tend to be very long as I add every scripture needed to make my points.
This blog will be more "thought" related content while still using a scripture or two but sticking just to my thoughts. The menu and sidebar will always have a link to my other blog revealing how I get my views from scripture. While this blog is about my view and perception of things that I've picked up on along the way, it will also be about my creativity. These posts will be much shorter, making it easier to read.
I am dealing with a serious illness that sometimes limits what I can do in a day or week, but when I am able, I love to be creative. The plan is to share that creativity on here with hopes that many will feel inspired by it and get creative too. It is my hope that many will be inspired by the thoughts I share as well.
I will bring up key points that I need to make, reflecting on ways one can get to a good place... finding the light in the dark. I hope to show how one can focus on the good and avoid what is bad. I have much love for people...I don't believe in judging anyone for who they are or what they believe, everyone is dysfunctional in one way or another. We all have a story. God has taught me to reflect on myself and not others.
I will use discernment when it comes to those who are in my circle of life. Showing love always but keeping a distance when needed and setting boundaries, for my own spirituality and sanctity.
I love doing mixed media art, using different paints, mediums and textures. I mostly love creating in my art journal, but I also love recycling and/or altering everyday items and turning them into an art piece. I'm not much of a sewer but I also love creating with fabric and doing paper crafts...cards, artist trading cards, tags, books and so much more.
The beauty in my Faith in God; in my Father and what He's taught me; live for today and don't focus on tomorrow.
If I can accomplish something on any given day...that's great. If not... that's okay too. It's not about this life, it's about the age to come. I fear nothing but disappointing my Father who is in heaven. My life on this earth does not belong to me, it belongs to HIM and Jesus Christ. Although I suffer much and I'm ready to go...it's not about me and my timing, it's all about His timing.
I pray for this often...
Matthew 6:9-10 AMP —
“Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father, who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come,
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
May you have...
~ Peace, Love and Joy ~
